List Of Watcom Created Software
From Open Watcom
This is a list of software known to be compiled with the Watcom compiler; only releases and versions positively identified as having been built using Watcom tools are included. This list is very incomplete; please add to it.
How to determine whether an application was built with the Watcom tools? The presence of DOS4GW.EXE in the package is a very good indicator for 32-bit DOS applications. On all platforms, an executable linked with the Watcom run-time library contains strings similar to the following: WATCOM C/C++32 Run-Time system. (c) Copyright by WATCOM International Corp. 1988-1993. All rights reserved. (32-bit runtime) or WATCOM C Run-Time system code is provided on an "as is" basis and is (c) Copyright by WATCOM Systems Inc. 1988-1992. All rights reserved. (16-bit runtime).
